PRESENTATION GUIDELINES for Oral PresentatIons

Oral presentations will be strictly limited to 10 minutes. Please plan on a maximum 10-minute talk. Since the conference schedule is tight, Session chairs / co-chairs will need to strictly enforce timings.

Please arrive well in advance of your session to the congress hall and upload your files. The hall assistants will help you to upload your files and help you to start up your presentation. The computer is located on the stage. Please notice that it is not possible to use own laptops. 

You are required to bring your presentation in PowerPoint format (all Microsoft Office versions up to 2011) to the conference on a USB stick. We strongly advise that to deal with unforeseen circumstances you bring an extra copy of all presentation files, and ensure you have a copy available from a suitable area on the internet that is generally accessible. You must prepare your presentation in ENGLISH, but you can speak with your presentation in your main language (mother tongue) during your session.

Please follow the file name convention: Session name_family name.pptx.  

You are responsible for advancing your slides during your presentation. The session room will be set up with the following audio visual equipment: 

  • Laptop, with Microsoft 365, Windows 11 installed
  • Data projector and screen
  • Microphone (in some Congress Halls)
  • A wireless remote with a laser pointer

Guideline for abstract submission

Please take notice of the following guidelines for abstract preparing, before sending your abstract.  Only abstracts following the guidelines will be accepted.

There is not limit number of submission.

Abstract will be reviewed by two independent reviewers. All accepted and presented abstracts will be printed in Turkish Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (TJPR) indexed in Emerging Science Citation Index (E-SCI).

Please note that the scientific committee may limit the number of oral presentations for one individual. The maximum number of abstracts that can be presented by the same presenter will be limited to maximum two per presentation type oral or poster.

All abstracts must be submitted in English, and all presentations must be given in English.

All authors have consented to be included as co-authors, have read and approved the abstract and its contents, and agree with the results stated. Please note that after you send the abstract, further changes cannot be accepted.

The work described is original to the authors and was conducted in accordance with current ethical standards and regulations in biomedical and clinical research related with pediatric Bobath concept.

Abstracts must be unbiased and conflicts of interest shall be disclosed. Papers that are written in a manner that promotes a company, service, or product will not be considered.

Authors should write preferred type of presentation (Oral communication, Poster) at the top of the document above the title as “type of presentation: oral/poster. The final decision, however, lies upon the Scientific Committee and its Reviewing Panel.

The abstract body text is limited to a maximum of 250 words, excluding title and author information. Figures and tables are not allowed.

 The use of references is discouraged and should be limited to a minimum. Please use exactly the structural lay-out of and all submissions should be layout by headings: Background/Aim, Method, Results, Conclusion.
