The focus of the EBTA Senior Tutors’ Workshop this September will be on clinical reasoning, with a strong transdisciplinary ethos, it is hoped that it will attract the participation of tutors from all professions.

The first two days will explore how tutors use the clinical case studies module of the Basic Bobath Course to advance course participants’ development of in-depth clinical reasoning in course participants; these days will be facilitated by Christine Barber (PT) and Marleen D’hondt (SLT).

The final day which will focus on the Bobath Clinical Reasoning Framework, will be facilitated by Dr Margaret Mayston and Sarah Foley, co-authors of The Bobath Clinical Reasoning Framework: A systems science approach to the complexity of neurodevelopmental conditions, including cerebral palsy, published by DMCN in 2023.

Nominees will be advised if they have a place on the workshop, and invoiced. Final confirmation of participation in the workshop will be sent by EBTA on receipt of payment of the workshop fee.
